Marty's Leaving Park Slope for Windsor Terrace (with fixed link)
Marty Markowitz is moving out of Park Slope--
he & his wife have bought a $l.5 million
house in Windsor Terrace. He says that
half-mil cash he set down comes from his
wife's inheritance.

Was I complaining, Jim? I thought I was celebrating. And I thought moving to Windsor Terrace WAS "moving on?" No?

Good for Marty. Personally - I think Park Slope is a much nicer neighborhood with better schools, restaurants, shopping, and a stronger sense of community. Parking is not an issue to me since PS is so well served by public transit. Apparently SOME of us are too good for the subways and buses.
Loffredo - you moved out of Park Slope over 2 years ago and STILL you spend so much time and energy complaining about Park Slope parents??!! Move on already.

We made the move from Park Slope to Windsor Terrace 2 1/2 years ago, and all I can tell you is there's more house for the money, a lot more parking, a lot fewer strollers, and the same access to Prospect Park and all the restaurants on 7th and 5th Avenues. Oh, yeah, and we're closer to Fairway and further away from the PS Coop. Yeah!

The above link got me to the Brooklyn Flea article, not any article on Marty.
