The Moonlighters. Gorgeous vocal harmonies interwoven with guitar and ukulele, the Moonlighters are as comfortable with classic Hawaiian melodies as they are innovative with their original songwriting. Earlier in the evening at Barbe: Bethany & Rufus Roots Quartet. Drawing from the roots music traditions of America, Niger, and Haiti; Bethany & Rufus with Yacouba Moumouni and Bonga Jean-Baptiste come together to create an unexpected tapestry, weaving the desert winds of Africa with Vodou traditions of the new world and the folk music of America. With Bethany Yarrow - vocals; Rufus Cappadocia - cello; "Bonga" Jean-Baptiste - percussion and Yacouba "Denke Denke" - flute and vocals.
