I Hate Valentine's Day Shooting in Elementi

Benjamin Kaback of Second Avenue Sagas sent word of the I Hate Valentine's Day shoot. I heard from the owners of Elementi that the production would be shooting in Elementi on Seventh Avenue near Garfield this week.

Not sure if you saw the signs but at least along Carroll St. between 6th and 7th Aves this morning, officials were out in force urging no parking tomorrow for this movie: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0762105/

Looks like Nia Vardalos (of My Big Fat Greek Wedding) is moving her act from Carroll Gardens to the Slope.

When restaurant owners decide they can make more $$$ on a location shoot than on its patrons, it really says a lot about the food at the restaurant. I give it less than six more months of business.

Bring back Snooky's!

They've been filming on PPW in Windsor Terrace for a few weeks, including at the Terrace Bagel diner. They created a fake Tapas joint in an unrented store, too. (Where All Four Paws used to be.)

So make that "from Carroll Gardens to Windsor Terrace"!
