F Train Service is Weird This Weekend: No Stops at Seventh Avenue

Check out the MTA weekend advisory. But best bet is to avoid the F train this weekend.

The Times' also has coverage of this: Train Skip Your Stop? It’s No Mistake, It’s Just the Weekend

I am going to try the F now. I need to go from Ft Hamilton to 4th Ave. What will happen? I would prefer to get off at 7th.... Maybe I'll just get off at 15th and walk. Aw heck... maybe I'll just walk period.

Thank you for correcting the headline, but I still don't think your description of this weekend's wackiness matches the transit advisory--it would appear that one could (and I will!) take the F from 7th Avenue to Coney Island. It will skip a couple of stops but will stop at 7th Avenue.

"Not running" doesn't really explain it. According to that NYC Transit page, the trains aren't covering the full route (Manhattan-bound only going as far as 4th Ave., which means transfers are possible).

But I appreciate the warning. Won't put off 'til tomorrow what I can do on a weekday.
